Group puzzle

Create home and expert groups using the jigsaw method.

Overview

You define topics and group counts. The app distributes students across home and expert groups.

How to find it

  1. Select a course from the side menu or via the calendar view.
  2. Open the Tools area in the course.
  3. In the Group puzzle section, tap New group puzzle.

Step by step

  1. Enter a name.
  1. Add at least two topics.
  1. Choose the number of home groups and expert groups.
  1. Deselect the students that should NOT be considered.
  1. Tap Create to generate the puzzle.

Optional

  • Swap student: Drag a student into a different group.
  • Sort by grades: Once grades are available, sort the list.
  • Grade a group: Start a grading per home group.
