Override grade

Overview

With the pedagogical grade, you can deliberately override the calculated grade of a category for a specific period – for example, for a mid-year grade. From that point on, it becomes the new basis for calculation.

As soon as you create a pedagogical grade:

• All previous grades in this category and in its subcategories are no longer taken into account for the calculation of this period.
• From that point on, the pedagogical grade becomes the new basis.

How to find it

1. In the side menu or via the calendar view, select a course.
2. In the student list, tap the student and open the grade tree.
3. Tap the three-dot menu of a grade tile and select Override calculated grade.

Step by step

1. Add a note to explain the reason.
2. Select the associated lesson.
3. Select the grade scale for the entry.
4. Enter the pedagogical grade.
5. Confirm with Done.
