Backup settings
Manage automatic and manual backups of your data.
Overview
You see a list of current backups and can create new backups, restore older ones, or export them.
How to find it
- Open the Side menu and select Settings.
- Tap Data backup.
What you can do
- New backup: Manually create a new backup with a password.
- Import backup: Load an external backup file.
- Restore backup: Select an existing backup from the list.
- Export backup: Share a backup with other devices.

- Custom folder: Set a dedicated directory for backups on macOS.
